Mother's Day UK style

Today, Jackson and I decided we would surprise our mother with some nice gifts and a card for UK Mother's day. In the morning nothing much happened, the usual things like getting up, eating a little, and kind of just chilling out. I read my book, Jackson listened to podcasts or something, and my mom listened to her book. Eventually, I got a text from Jackson saying we should go out and get my mom some gifts. So at like 2 pm, we headed out to see if any stores were open and had anything my mom would like.

We found a store that had a lot of healthy and natural products which we knew she would like. So we looked around for a good 10 minutes and we decided on ginger chocolates, rose lotion, chapstick, and non-paraben soap. We bought the items and walked back home in the light rain with a quick stop at ShopLocal so Jackson could get a snack.

We made it home and gave her the gifts and card, she loved it and we all chatted for a while, and even though it was way past lunchtime we still tried some of the chocolates. They were pretty good!

I am so thankful to have such a good mother that takes care of 2 sons while dealing with all the obstacles life throws at you. It amazes me how much you can do and have done for us. Thank you for everything, I am so happy to be your son.

Ahhhhh, what sweet kids they were today!  Even made fish tacos, for dinner, only asking for instructions a few times!

It was a great relaxing day with lots of sweets and no exercising.  Tomorrow is Monday and back to the grind!

Love you boys,

Mama
